Falls Whitewater Park concept endorsed by the CCC Board of Directors

The CCC Board of Directors has decided to show the Club 's support for design concepts and implementation of a whitewater park planned for the area just below the Falls Lake dam on the Neuse River. A letter voicing that support has been sent to the planning committee currently working with the City of Raleigh to help move the project forward. As stated in the letter of support, we feel that the whitewater park will be a valuable resource for paddlers and non-paddlers alike, as well as an asset to the City of Raleigh and residents of the surrounding communities.
