Please note:

• All participants in Carolina Canoe Club trips do so as common adventurers. The club or its individual members may coordinate paddling trips but no one is considered leader of a trip. All participants take the responsibility for making their own decisions including, but not limited to, whether to participate on any particular water body or section, what equipment they use, the routes they may choose to paddle, whether their skill levels and abilities are appropriate for the activity or whether climate and water conditions are appropriate for their participation.
   
• Minors may not participate in Club sponsored trips unless accompanied by a parent or by a responsible adult during the trip. The responsible adult must be appointed by the parent, and must accept the designation. The responsible adult should have been given written permission to authorize medical treatment for the minor, information on how to contact the minor's parents and insurance information for the minor.
   
• The letters in parentheses indicate skill level (N = Novice, I= Intermediate, A = Advanced, ALL = All levels).
   
• Please DO NOT email anyone with the contact information for trips on the Cruise Schedule. Trip coordinator's name and phone number are available in The Paddler and in the "Members Only" section of the web site.
   
• Any late changes to the calendar are only made on this web page and in the "Cruise Schedule" document in the "Members Only" section of the web site. The online copy of The Paddler is NOT updated with late changes.
   
  
• The Carolina Canoe Club encourages carpooling. If you ride with someone else, you should volunteer to reimburse the driver for gas. It's not that much, and it WILL be appreciated!
